ANIMAL RESCUE IN VENEZUELA 〰️

I lived in Venezuela until my early twenties, where I did independent rescue work for stray and abandoned animals — mostly cats and dogs. Caracas alone is home to an estimated 300,000 stray dogs and 250,000 stray cats, and that is just one city.

I still donate where I can to my peers who are still active on the ground, but my contribution alone isn't enough — especially after the June 2026 earthquakes. That's why I opened a personal fundraiser for anyone who'd like to help. I convert every donation to local currency myself and send it directly to people I know and trust who are doing the work.

THE CHARITIES I SUPPORT

Woodside Sanctuary, independent rabbit foster and rehabilitation volunteers (UK), Dogs Trust, the British Red Cross, and Marie Curie. I rotate some of this giving over time, but the commitment stays the same.
