HI, I'M NIKOLS. I'VE DONE THIS FOR almost 20 YEARS.

I've spent almost two decades in media and marketing, most recently leading growth at a global New York based media company. I've built partnerships, launched campaigns, and grown audiences at every scale.

Now I bring all of that to small businesses like yours. I help you stay on top on your marketing following your vision with execution, strategy, and support.

Why small businesses? Because independents are what make a place worth exploring and I looove visiting new places and tasting local culture. I’m currently based in Exeter, so you'll find me out almost every weekend discovering Devon: the food, the pubs, the coastal walks, the shops, and the locally made ice creams :’)

I believe every one of them deserves to keep the doors open, offer their uniqueness with the public and grow where they can. That's the whole point of why I started Nikols & Co, to be part of their story.

(Y sí — hablo español. If Spanish is your first language, we can work in it.)

A woman with curly black hair, wearing sunglasses, a patterned short-sleeve shirt, white t-shirt, black pants, and sneakers, stands with arms crossed in a vintage audio equipment store surrounded by large speakers and stereo equipment. She is smiling, and there are signs and a potted plant on the background wall.

Meet the

‘co’.

But if you've ever wondered who the "Co" is in the Nikols & Co equation, here they are. Paige and Luis are the peers I've built projects, brands, and a life alongside, over the years. We're a small team of creative people, each bringing our own eye, ideas, and opinions to every plan.

Paige

Art Director

Paige is a Devon-based illustrator with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Arts from Winchester School of Art, and a style built on 70s and 80s subculture (punks, mods, skinheads, new romantics) and the pop culture that followed them.

Paige also runs her own small business, The Queer Store, so she brings an entrepreneur instinct for what a business owner wants to communicate with their brand and the eye for how it should look.

She grew up in the South West so she knows how a brand’s voice should resonate locally. At this point she can take you to Trago Mills on a tractor without a map, ask her!

Social Media Specialist

Luis

Luis is a Venezuelan content creator with a BA (Hons) in Media and Communications and 13+ years managing social media for small businesses.

Since he started working with social platforms in the early 2010s one thing hasn't changed: understanding an audience and creating stories to connect with them.

He brings an eye built across photography, graphic design and animation. He recently launched his own small business, Woody & Barky, so he knows exactly what it feels like when a post has to actually perform.

He is also that guy who'll notice an extra millimetre that "doesn't feel right."

READY WHEN YOU ARE.

Tell me a bit about your business and what you're after. I'll come back to you within a day, no bots, just a real reply… from me.
